For everyone

Accessibility Statement.

If something on this site doesn't work for you, we want to know. Here's what we aim for, where we fall short, and how to reach a real person who can help.

  • WCAG 2.1 AA target
  • Phone & email support
  • Spoken-language help
  • Updated regularly

Our commitment

We want every Pearland-area homeowner, including people with vision, hearing, motor, or cognitive differences, to be able to learn about our services, request a tune-up, and get help when their AC goes out at 2 a.m. The website is part of how we deliver that, but it's never the only path.

If anything on this site is hard for you to use, you can always call us at 281-992-7866 and a real person will help. No phone tree, no chatbot.

What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard recommended by the U.S. Department of Justice for ADA-compliant business websites. Concretely, that means:

  • Text and background colors meet or exceed minimum contrast ratios.
  • The site can be navigated using only a keyboard, no mouse required.
  • Headings, lists, and landmarks are coded so screen readers can announce them.
  • Images that carry meaning have descriptive alt text.
  • Forms have visible labels and clear error messages.
  • Text resizes up to 200% without breaking the layout.
  • The site doesn't rely on color alone to communicate information.
  • Animations can be paused and respect your operating system's "reduced motion" setting.

Where we know we fall short

We try to be honest about this. As of the last review:

  • Some older blog posts have images without alt text. We're working through them.
  • The third-party booking widget is mostly accessible, but a few of its color contrasts are below our target. If you'd rather not use it, our contact page and our office phone work just as well.
  • A handful of PDF documents (older permits, equipment specs) aren't fully tagged for screen readers. We're prioritizing the customer-facing ones first.

If you run into a problem we haven't listed, please tell us. We treat accessibility issues like service tickets, they get logged, assigned, and tracked until they're fixed.

Reporting an accessibility problem

If you find something on this site that doesn't work with your assistive technology, that you can't read, or that's hard to use, please tell us. The more specific the better:

  • The page or URL where you ran into the problem.
  • What you were trying to do.
  • What happened (or didn't).
  • Your browser, operating system, and any assistive technology you were using (screen reader, voice control, magnifier).

We'll respond within 5 business days. If the issue is preventing you from getting service, call us instead and we'll handle the booking by phone right then.

How we maintain this

We test the site with keyboard navigation and the VoiceOver and NVDA screen readers when we ship significant changes. Once a year, we run a full audit against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria and publish what we find. The current statement was last reviewed in May 2026.

Accessibility is never finished, it's something we work on continuously. Thanks for telling us when we miss something.
